Give Your Students an Experience to Remember
ISUCL offers presentations/visits for K-12 Classes. An ISUCL Staff Climatologist can make a classroom visit to any school to present weather related topics. Included with the visit is a 'hands-on' experience where the students participate in atmospheric learning.
The following is an outline of the presentation (based on education level):
- "Exploring the Skies Above Indiana" A basic presentation on the role of a Meteorologist/Climatologist/Broadcast Meteorologist in Indiana.
- Description of the ISUCL Daily Routine
- Severe Weather Awareness (seasonal)
- 'Hands-On' experience
- Teacher/Instructor specified topic of choice such as Climate Change, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, and many more.

ISUCL offers tours for K-12 Classes. The tour of the facility is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate what an atmospheric laboratory does on a daily basis. Included with the tour is a 'hands-on' experience where the students participate in atmospheric learning.

- Basic tour of the facility by an ISUCL Staff Observer
- Tour of the ISUCL/NWS Cooperative Weather Station
- Demonstration of the ISUCL Daily Routine
- Demonstration of Weather Instruments
- Severe Weather Awareness (seasonal)
- 'Hands-On' experience
- Teacher/Instructor specified topic of choice such as Climate Change, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, and many more.
