Climatology Minor Requirements

Undergraduate and graduate students can specialize in Climatology in the Geography (BS, MA, PhD) and Geology (BS, MS) degree programs within the Department of Geography, Geology and Anthropology. An emphasis in Climatology is also supported by the curriculum of the Climatology Minor (below) and the activities of the Indiana State University Climatology Laboratory (ISUCL).

(Geography 111 or 160 or consent of the instructor is a prerequisite for Geography 316. Geography 111 or 160, Mathematics 115, Physics 105 and 105L, or consent of the instructor are prerequisites for 454.)
Students minoring in climatology must select their additional 9 hours from courses other than in their major. Other suitable courses may be approved by the advisor. Entry to the program requires permission of the undergraduate advisor in the Department of Geography, Geology, and Anthropology.
